Most professionals have industry groups and associations. For example, doctors have the American Medical Association. There’s even an American Philosophical Association. So what do lightworkers have? The closest thing I could find was Lightworkers.org, which bills itself as “a spiritual social networking community for all people seeking to connect with other lightworkers, spiritual seekers, star seeds, wanderers, indigo children, and multi-dimensional beings.” But that shouldn’t stop you from getting together with lightworkers in your community. What are the benefits of such a group?
—There’s great benefit in being around people who have the same problems and concerns as you.
—You can learn from other lightworker business owners. Discuss such challenges as how to handle difficult clients and new ways to market your business online.
—You avoid isolation, which can easily happen to sole practitioners who work for themselves and spend much of their time alone.
Some places where you can try to find other lightworkers include metaphysical churches, Meetup groups and holistic expos. If you know of any other lightworking groups, I’d love to hear from you.
