If you cringe at the idea of marketing, you’re not alone. Many lightworkers see marketing as something seedy, largely because many mainstream companies use marketing as a way to convince consumers to buy products and services they don’t need.
Recent news reports about Trump University and how employees would prey on potential customers’ vulnerabilities and arguably get them to charge thousands of dollars that they couldn’t afford just fuel those sentiments.
But there’s a lightworker way to look at marketing. Instead of thinking of marketing as trying to get customers to buy something, think of marketing as a way to let customers know about something they need.
Visualize your clients benefiting from your services. Literally picture them in your head being healthier, happier and better off after receiving your services.
Naturally, in order to do this, you must stand behind your business and what it offers. You must truly believe that what you’re offering is in the customer’s best interest. If you don’t believe this, then your business is not authentic. Or if you’re marketing your business to people that you can’t imagine would be helped by your business, then you’re marketing to the wrong people.
When you know your business is making a difference, it’s easier to want to share it with the world. After all, it’s all a part of fulfilling your purpose.
