Whether you’re a psychic selling a service on eBay or a massage therapist who finds all of your customers offline, the recent decision by the online auction site to ban many psychic and metaphysical services affects you. It contributes to a general lack of respect for people who are making a living using their metaphysical gifts. Just like Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo set lightworkers back with her commercial parodying the important work lightworkers do, the eBay ban sets lightworkers back because it suggests to the world that metaphysical services are not real.
As I explained in an earlier post calling on lightworkers to boycott eBay, there are plenty of other service providers listed on eBay whose validity can’t be objectively measured. By picking specifically on lightworkers and other metaphysical providers, eBay is adding validity to the belief that psychic and metaphysical services cannot be trusted.
We all know the squeaky wheel gets the oil and we at Lightworkerbusiness.com are happy to see that lightworkers have circulated a petition to let eBay know how they feel. There’s power in numbers, lightworkers. Here’s hoping this situation is resolved in such a way that we can look back on it as a giant step forward for all lightworker business owners.
