There are a number of things to consider when making that determination. It goes without saying that sharing your political beliefs could be risky for your business. If you have clients who feel different from you politically, they may decide to take their business elsewhere. On the other hand, if there are clients who share your beliefs, they may feel an even stronger bond to you if they know that you have political views in common.
Some lightworkers believe that it is important to be authentic and take a stand about issues that are important to them. If this is you, then by all means show your support for political causes that you believe in.
Others feel that their personal lives — and their personal beliefs — should be kept separate. If this is you, then honor that. After all, that’s one of the benefits of pursuing a career that is in alignment with your soul.
Whichever way you want to handle it, make sure you create an environment in which all of your clients feel safe regardless of their political views.
If you disagree with a client politically, don’t argue with the client or try to convince him or her to see things your way.
If people are being political in your workplace and it’s disturbing customers, kindly ask that those who are being political refrain from engaging in the conversation at that time since it’s upsetting other customers.
Don’t force your political views on those who are not interested.
Remember what you know about the Law of Attraction. Put your attention on what you want and not what you don’t want. In other words, focus not on what you’re politically against, but rather pay attention to what you politically stand for.
