So you’ve been working hard to strengthen your intuition. You’ve taken classes, you’ve done readings for friends, and now you are looking for psychic jobs and want to try your hand at starting a psychic business of your own. You feel like you’ve being called to do psychic readings. Now, how do you find clients?
That’s a dilemma that many new professional psychics face, but it doesn’t have to keep you stumped for long. In order to find clients, you must go to where people are. And there are plenty of people looking for psychic insights.
Consider starting off for free. One way that some psychics build up their clientele is to offer a few free readings. You might do this for a few weeks and ask friends to forward emails letting a few people know of this opportunity. Once you do these readings, some of the people who took advantage of them may become your clients for life.
Advertise discount services on Twitter and Facebook. You never know who is looking for a reading and who may be currently using social media. Again, work your network to get the word out that you’re offering discounted services for a limited time, and give people a chance to try out your services.
Take part in a psychic or holistic expo. Look for events where people gather for metaphysical or holistic services. If you don’t know of any, get together with some fellow healers and start your own. By offering your services at a community event, you’re giving yourself exposure and even if some people don’t get a reading from you that day, they may come back to you at a later time.
There are plenty of opportunities for you to showcase your services. As your client list grows, consider raising your prices until they are comparable — or greater — than those of other psychics. Exposure is the name of the game when you’re starting out.
