If you are a Reiki practitioner who is building a business around your healing or looking for Reiki jobs, there is one thing that can stop your business before it gets off the ground: The belief that you have to compete.
Competition is insidious. While general society promotes the idea that life is about competing and there are always winners and losers, that is not a belief that Reiki practitioners and other lightworkers have to buy into. The whole idea of competition suggests that there is only a limited amount of success to be had. It suggests that if you win, I have to lose. If you have Reiki clients, then I won’t have enough Reiki clients.
That couldn’t be further from the truth. In reality, there is an infinite number of potential clients for you to choose from. Every potential client is not meant to work with you, just like every person you meet is not meant to be a good friend. What would your life be like if you accepted every person you met into your inner circle? That wouldn’t happen because every person you meet will not be aligned with you. The same holds true for potential clients.
Instead of competing, Reiki business owners can create a spirit of cooperation. They can learn from one another. They can share best practices. If there is a client that you don’t vibe with or that you can’t service for some reason, send that client to the Reiki business owner down the street.
As you open up to the idea that there is no lack when it comes to clients, you will make that a reality and attract client after client. The idea that we must compete is a myth that leaves people sabotaging their own success and attracting lack into their lives.
Expect an infinite supply of clients, and your Reiki business will thrive.
