One challenge lightworker businesses have is getting clients to buy their services now, rather than later. Naturally, if someone believes that they need insight or healing immediately, they’re likely to spend money on your products or services now, but we don’t want clients to be in distress to benefit from our services. Here are some ways to encouraging clients to spend money on your services today even if they aren’t in an urgent situation.
Offer a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Or a buy-one-get-one-half-off deal. The idea is to give your clients an incentive to spend money today. If they will be able to pay for a future service at a discounted price by spending money today, many cost-conscious clients will go for the deal. The way to make this type of deal work is to limit the time that someone is able to take advantage of it. For example, let clients know that the deal is only good for the weekend or that they must make the purchase by the end of the week (though they can redeem the service whenever they want.)
Reward clients for referrals. Your clients may not want a service today, but their friends might. Word of mouth is a powerful incentive to buy. Offer your clients a free or discounted service whenever they’ve referred three or four clients to you. That way, someone is singing your praise (and the sentiment behind the praise will be real).
Publicize openings in your schedule. If you have an email list or you have a following on Facebook or Twitter, let clients know about openings in your schedule. For example, some psychics announce on Twitter that they are accepting clients right then. Someone may want a service once your availability is brought to their attention. If clients typically have to schedule appointments with you in advance, this could be a good incentive for someone to get serviced quickly without the wait.
