When you’re running a business, it’s easy to get bogged down with the numbers and the data and all of the logical aspects of entrepreneurship. After all, cashflow is a real concern and business owners still have to make sure they have food on the table and shelter for themselves and their families. But it’s just as important not to forget about the need to balance all of those facts with intuition. As a lightworker, chances are, your intuition has brought you a long way. Don’t stop benefiting from it now.
It’s always interesting to see the mainstream media give intuition a nod. In recent years, more mainstream publications have been acknowledging that it takes more than mental energy to run a successful business. In this clip from Inc.com, Ken Austin, founder of liquor company Tequila Avion talks about the importance of intuition in day-to-day work.
“You’re going to know when you lay your head down at night if things are going well,”Austin says. “You’re going to know if they’re going poorly.” And let me just say, we often know things are going well or going poorly BEFORE the data is there to back it up. If you wait for the material proof that an idea is a good one, you may get into the game a tad too late. Or if you don’t follow your hunch that a particular action won’t end well, you may suffer as a result.
Remember, the trendsetters act before everyone else does. They see potential before the data is there to back it up.
