If your lightworker business revolves around face-to-face communication, it’s time you stopped waiting for things to get back to normal so you can get back to business. The truth is things won’t be getting back to normal now for some time, at least until there is a vaccine. 

Sure, society will open back up and quarantines won’t last forever. But will people feel safe enough interacting with you like they did before?

And even if a treatment for COVID-19 is discovered a few months from now, once people get used to the adjustments we are making because of the coronavirus, some things may never go back to the way they were. At least one Nielsen study predicts that consumer shopping habits will change forever.

So where does that leave you? You either adapt or you pray that you can hang on. I’m all for prayer and as a lightworker, I understand its power, but you can adapt and pray too. 

Ways to take your spiritual business virtual

One thing that many businesses are having to grapple with is how to reach clients where they are, and these days, clients are at home. If you haven’t been offering virtual services, now is the time to figure out how to do so. Consider this an opportunity to dive into a world that may prove to be much more lucrative to your business over time.

  • Many of the face-to-face services lightworkers provide can be offered digitally via zoom or Skype. You can see your clients and give readings, offer coaching, or teach a workshop or class. (See Why You Should Be Offering Healing Courses.) Your clients would love to see you. In this time of great anxiety, your clients undoubtedly need you more than they needed you before.
  • You might even offer virtual healings. Be creative. Healing can take place over a distance. Yes, you can offer reiki to someone over a distance. I know one healer who is offering Wednesday night virtual healings during the coronavirus crisis. She gives her clients a 15-minute period of time and tells them to sit in a  comfortable place undisturbed for that period. She then instructs them to rest for the remainder of the evening since they would have received a healing during that 15-minute window. 
  • If you sell products face to face, have a sale via Facebook Live or via Instagram Live. Let clients view products and order them, paying via PayPal or cash app and you can mail  them their products. I know of a metaphysical shop that is having flash sales online each week and they are selling out of products each time. This is helping them to keep the business going until they are able to open once again.
  • If you have been thinking about creating a product, now might be the time to do it. Whether it’s a book, an online course, a manual or a video training session, think of something you can spend your time on now while you’re in quarantine that you can turn around and sell a few months from now. Challenge yourself to make sure this product is a virtual one. Use this time to strengthen your business by creating something that can work for you whether you are seeing clients in person or not.
