So we talked about how your throat chakra can be hurting your business and how a blocked throat chakra can cost lightworkers (and everyone else) money. If these are challenges that plague you, know that you are not alone. And more importantly, know that there are things you can do to balance your throat chakra and change the fortunes of your business and your life.
The throat chakra, or fifth chakra is about expression, but not just any old type of expression. It really comes down to self-expression and the freedom to be your authentic self. When you do not allow your authentic self to shine through in your interactions with others, your throat chakra is blocked and the energy in that part of your body stagnates. Eventually, you could end up experiencing physical ailments, such as sore throats, voice problems and dental issues.
You’ll also suffer emotionally and spiritually with a blocked throat chakra. We all want to be seen; we all want to be heard; we all want to be understood. Paying attention to this chakra can lead to major breakthroughs throughout our lives, as we begin to play a more powerful role in all of our interactions.
So how can you boost your throat chakra? It doesn’t have to be a chore. In fact, there are fun things you can do to give your throat chakra a workout. The goal of all of these exercises is to make yourself heard and share more and more of your authentic self. Each time you express yourself authentically, your throat chakra gets a workout that will help it work itself to a balanced state.
Reach out to your network. It’s easy to get so caught up in our day-to-day lives that we forget to reach out and see how our loved ones are doing. Make communication a priority for a couple of weeks and let your loved ones know what’s going on in your life to start bringing attention to your throat chakra.
Share more intimate details. No one has to know ALL of your business, but make a goal of sharing one detail more than you normally would with everyone you speak with for the next week. When you show more of your authentic self, it becomes easier and easier to stop hiding.
Take a public speaking class. If you really want to give your throat chakra a workout, confront those fears you have of speaking in public.
Attend more networking events. Many people, particularly empaths, despise networking, but that’s because it feels grimy to meet people for the purpose of getting ahead. However, that’s not why you should do it. Go into a networking event with the goal of finding out something interesting about each person you meet, and sharing one detail about yourself in the process. You’ll be amazed at what transpires.
Journal. You may think you have to use your mouth to work that throat chakra. But that’s not true. If you’re a writer, write. If you’ve always wanted to write book, get it out of you. Many writers (myself included) have had throat chakra issues show up because they were not doing the writing that was in alignment with their souls.
Turn to crystal healing. Crystals are powerful for healing. If you want to balance your throat chakra, the crystals Amazonite, Turquoise and Aquamarine can all be helpful. Consider meditating with them and set the intention of speaking your truth.
Wear the color blue. The throat chakra is associated with the color blue. By wearing blue and setting the intention to bring healing to your fifth chakra, you get a visual reminder of your healing work throughout your day.
