If you are a healer or psychic, you may use tools that are sacred to you. For example, if you use a crystal ball in your psychic readings, it is recommended that no one else other than you touches that crystal ball so that the energetic connection between you and the crystal ball is not compromised. Likewise, you may not want your clients touching your tarot cards, runes or other tools that you use in your day to day practice. How do you handle a situation in which a client is curious and wants to take a closer look at your sacred tools?
You don’t want to appear rude to your clients, and it’s always a good thing if clients are interested in learning more about metaphysics and different healing modalities. In fact, if your clients are very interested in your tools, they may be interested in receiving training from you in exploring their psychic and healing gifts. This may be a sign that you should start working on a training or coaching program that you can offer in the near future.
But that doesn’t change the fact that you don’t want your clients touching your tools. Here are some ways that you can handle the situation.
Explain before the reading or service how the tools are sacred and they’re energetically connected to you. That connection could be compromised if they were to handle the tools. If you’re clients are metaphysically-minded, as they likely are, they’ll probably understand that.
Have some extra tools that you don’t use for readings that your clients can look at. Again, if you feed their interest, they may decide that they’d like to explorer training with you in using those tools and developing their own psychic and healing gifts.
